Description:
The role of the Corporate Graphic Designer is to design sales, advertising, public relations, and point of purchase materials. Works closely with the Marketing Team to supply graphics and collaborate on various corporate design projects. Uses graphic design technology and computer software to produce designs and layouts as well as update existing collateral pieces to adhere to corporate brand identity guidelines. This is a part-time position averaging up to 30 hours per week.
REPORTS TO * Channel Marketing Manager
JOB FUNCTIONS
** Conceptualize, design and produce promotional materials such as flyers, ads, brochures, logos and/or displays.
** Plan, schedule, and implement design projects related to marketing collateral.
** Design and produce camera-ready art including graphs, charts, clip art posters and/or photos.
** Maintain electronic archive system of completed projects for easy future reference.
** Must understand the importance of consistent corporate branding and will be responsible for upholding integrity of corporate graphic standards.
** Assist with web page design.
Required skills:
The role of the Graphic Designer is to design sales, advertising, public relations, and point of purchase materials.
Required experience:
Candidate must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years academia experience directly related to job functions with the ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques and equipment. Requires proficiency in a variety of graphic software including Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign), Quark Express, Macromedia Flash, HTML and other standard graphic design software. Strong layout and graphic design skills must be demonstrated in submitted design samples. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interface with people at all levels inside and outside the company
