All,
Angie and I have been working on making arrangements for a standard
location for our monthly gatherings. Club Orange in Salt Lake has
enthusiastically agreed to host us, but we are worried that that may
not be the best location. It is a classy new club and has a private
room where we can hold presentations. This location will allow for a
organized presentation and then informal socialization. Our concerns
however are that you have to meet a certain age requirement to get in
and that alcohol is served because we do not want anyone to be turned
away or be uncomfortable (we'd like young people to be able to attend
also for example).
So, what does everyone think? Does anyone have any other ideas or
connections to locations that would be conducive to a gathering where
we can socialize and also have a presentation? A coffee shop with a
back/side room would be great. Or, do you think that a place with
food/music isn't important and we should be looking other public
locations such as libraries?
