[UGAF] new logo for Walmart

I'm hardly qualified to question WalMart's revenue-generating models (they
practically own the entire Earth and most of the inner planets), but yeah,
what possible reason could they have for selling space on their Web site
to other companies?

The whole point of WalMart's Web site, I would think, is to get people to
buy stuff from them, not someone else. Wouldn't it be more profitable to
advertise their own merchandise on their own site instead of another
company's? Why would an e-commerce site intentionally provide a means to
direct traffic (and money) away from their own products?

I mean, wouldn't this, more or less, be the equivalent of having the
greeters at their stores hand out promotions for other businesses?
"Welcome to WalMart, ma'am, but before you shop here, wouldn't you rather
go somewhere else?"
