Brad,

This was incredibly well stated. Passionate niches are money makers.  
And the easier it is to understand, the easier it is to purchase.

I know John Taber has done AI. I did some AI at ContentWatch (web  
filtering, spam filtering). While I see design as very passionate  
initially, there is no denying that following that up with complete  
functionality provides the best overall result. The balance of  
passionate and dispassionate, appeal and functionality, is a vital  
business lesson that many people never seem to recognize.
