Everyone,

On IRC I was talking with several of the other UPHPU people, and I have
an idea for an Open Source project I'd like to take on. I'm emailing
people to see if anyone would be interested in help out with the
project. Here is the idea.

I would like to make a Database Schema Revision Manager. The idea behind
this project is to allow developers to quickly generate scripts to
upgrade, downgrade, and verify database schemas are correct. I want it
to be a very clean, easy-to-use interface that makes life easier for
developers. Good examples of other projects are phpMyAdmin,
phpUnderControl, and Trac. There are some frameworks that already have
something similar to this. I know Rails has one. The difference is I
want to make something that can stand alone from any Framework. That way
I could use this program with any project.

If you're interested you can let me know at justin at justincarmony.com. If
there are people who have time to help brainstrom, but not code, they're
welcome too. I could use as much experience as I could get with ideas
for this project.

Thanks for you time!
