The unfortunate answer to that question is, overwhelmingly, "Nobody
cares."  (With notable exceptions as pointed out by folks like
Darrin.)  A lot of people post a lot of meaningless crap:

you do sign up for Twitter, be careful who you choose to follow and
keep in mind that they won't get a notification if you stop following
them.

I always wonder who actually has time to follow Twitter.  I know I
don't - I'm far too busy with more traditional and enlightening
pursuits, like spending quality time with my 39 closest friends in
Molten Core.
