i appreciate dan's comments, and understnad his perspective. however...

in response to dan's comments about twitter. it's true, just like a
large part of the internet [and social networking sites] there are
those areas that you should be mindful of and avoid. that fear, to me,
seems inconsequential when talking about the internet though. that is
the argument of a 70 year old that doesn't understand how to navigate
through the nastiness out there.

also, really, there is no requirement to join. if you don't like it,
or find value in it, then don't utilize the service. i just thought
that i would share something that i have found value in and thought
that others on the group may also find value. like i said, i think it
would be awesome for twitter to become another common means of uphpu
questions/answers/communications.
