The 3rd option is to sell it as a service like Basecamp or Salesforce,  
right? No installing/maintaining/upgrading for your customers and you  
don't have to release source code. The majority of open source  
software is used this way (as part of Google, Facebook, etc.) so, for  
better or worse, the GPL doesn't apply.
