Microsoft Excel and OpenOffice Base can also connect to MySQL. Both
provide a simple query interface. If you're using Excel on a Mac I
believe you'll need to install Microsoft Query. I also had to install
the actualtechnologies.com MySQL ODBC driver. But it's been a couple
years so perhaps some of the native drivers are working now.
