[UPHPU] debugging js in IE

For those interested, I'm getting warmer. I have learned two things:

1: Internet Explorer appears to be interpreting variable names within  
quotes, so do not declare variables with names that match classes or  
IDs as it will try to interpret them when using jQuery selectors.

2: Internet Explorer appears to like all variables declared before  
they are used, although I am still experiencing inconsistencies.
